Obituary for Marlon W. Brown

Marlon W. Brown, 90 of Eddyville, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at Rivers Bend in Kuttawa. He was a Korean veteran and a retired inspector for the Corp of Engineers. Marlon was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Eddyville.

He is survived by his daughter Marla Gaye Brown of Kuttawa; son Paul Grundy Brown and wife, Traci of Eddyville; brothers, John Y. Brown and wife, Bonnie of Princeton and Jack W. Brown of Princeton; several nieces and nephews and grandchildren of Seattle, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Wanda Jean Thompson Brown; parents, Wylie and Laura Lester Brown; brothers, George and Robert Brown.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM Friday, November 15, 2019 at Morgan's Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Eddy Creek Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Fox officiating. Military honors to be held at the cemetery.
