Obituary for Patty Jean Oliver Schmidt

Patty Jean Oliver Schmidt, age 88, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Princeton Nursing & Rehab surrounded by her loving family.

Patty was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was an enthusiastic meals-on-wheels volunteer while her health was good. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and neighbor.

She is survived by one daughter, Sally Hunley of Princeton and Knoxville, TN; one brother, Leroy Oliver and wife, Rosezelle of Princeton; one grandson, Dr. Tucker Hunley of Bristol, TN; one step-daughter, Dr. Mary Case and Max Million of St. Charles, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy "Smitty" Edward Schmidt; parents, John Dudley "J.D." Oliver and Robbie Brown Oliver; one step-son, Billy Schmidt; one sister, Bobbie J. Fitzgerald; one step-granddaughter, Tanya M. Schmidt.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Rowland Hills Cemetery with Rev. Dean Ray officiating.

There will be no public visitation held.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Princeton Nursing & Rehab, C/O Committee B, 1333 W. Main Street, Princeton, KY 42445.
