Obituary for William Thomas "Tweet" Mimms

William Thomas"Tweet" Mimms, age 65, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was a 1972 graduate of Caldwell County High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division where he served part of his enlistment in Alaska. Tweet worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by one sister, Darla Kay Swanson of Indianapolis, IN; four brothers, Rev. Jerry Gray of Princeton, Ralph Mimms of Atlanta, GA, James Vaughn of Indianapolis, IN, Samson Smith of Gallatin, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Faulkner and Mary Mimms Vaughn; two sisters, Marilyn Harris and Nancy Smith; two brothers, Jesse Gray and Royce Mimms.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 30, 2019 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with Rev. Jerry Gray officiating. Full Military rites will be presented.

There will be no public visitation.

Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
